Pancake day!

Today at nursery we were given the opportunity to create our own pancakes to celebrate ‘Pancake day’.

Everyone looked at the recipe and measured out our ingredients using cups to measure the flour and milk, and Miss Warrilow helped us crack the eggs.

We then mixed all of our ingredients in a mixing bowl with a whisk. We were all so good at taking turns with our friends!.

Miss Warrilow helped pour the mixure into a hot frying pan so we didnt burn ourselves and we watched the pancakes cook for a few minutes. While they were cooking we were thinking about what we would like on our pancakes, we had a choice of apricot jam, nutella, honey and golden syrup. I think you can guess which one was our favourite!. Yes you guessed… nutella!.

When the pancakes were cooked we tried to toss the pancakes in the air to see if we could get it higher than Miss Warrilow.

After we tossed them we put on a topping of our choice and ate them all up. They tasted so yummy some of us even had two!.
