Ready, Steady, Cook!

We would like to say a big thank you and goodbye to all the children and staff at Featherstone nursery. This week the children have throughly enjoyed their cooking sessions and they have reflected positively on their learning experiences.

Here are a few comments from the children throughout the cooking experience:

“I want to do cooking again”

“I chopped strawberries. I learnt how to chop”

“I made strawberry milkshake. I learnt how to drink it” 

“I learnt that I liked banana and my friend likes strawberry”

“We used the oil so the pancake doesn’t stick to the pan”

We would just like to say that the children have been fantastic! They are starting to develop essential and practical skills that are needed in their adult lives. We will miss them very much and wish them good luck in their future endeavours.
