The last couple weeks we have been doing a lot of planting in nursery. The children have been learning about different types of seeds and what they need to grow and how to plant them. So far we have planted wild flowers, sunflowers and Peas. Today in Forest School we have been planting Sunflower seeds in individual pots – this is a great activity you can do at home with any type of seed. Any parents that want to join us for a gardening or planting activity -please speak to your child’s key worker to arrange something – we welcome any help whether you’re an expert gardener or beginner like most of us!
