Today we have had 6 chickens hatch! we have had 4 boys and 2 girls. All of the children have been fascinated by the eggs hatching and some children have spent all morning and afternoon watching them hatch.

We have now moved those chicks into the brooder, which is their new home where they can drink water and eat food. Children have been learning about how we care for the chicks and about what they need to survive.
